Biography
AJ Clinkenbeard, a Northern Kentucky native, resides in Port St. Lucie, FL. He and his wife Angela founded Brightside Advisers to help dental practices succeed. AJ excels at bringing teams together to achieve success, coaching individual and team improvement, developing and implementing best practices, and leading change management.
AJ has served an executive in both the health & beauty and telecom industries. He guided over a half-dozen successful turnaround assignments and has been noted as a business development and customer experience expert.
When he is not helping dental practices, AJ can be found leading an immersive technologies team for Thermo Fisher Scientific. He’s also a published author, writing Back on the Rails: A Journey Through Career Transition. AJ earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and aBachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisville. He also holds a Certificate in Integrated Marketing from the University of California, Irvine, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and several other credentials in marketing and product management.
ANGELA Clinkenbeard, CO-FOUNDER
Biography
Angela Clinkenbeard, a Michigan native, started her career in dental hygiene in 2019 after twenty years in the salon industry. A former salon owner, she knows both the back and front of the house. Angela continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes that will lead to efficiency gains, happier patients, and higher revenues. She always looks for the "why" behind methods, techniques, and best practices.
Angela's insights about how dental practices operate allow her to quickly evaluate the current situation, identify performance and communication gaps, and pinpoint root causes. She then collects evidence to verify her findings to avoid anecdotal misconceptions and false assumptions. Angela will create a fact-based report that provides a comprehensive view of the practice.
Angela is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Florida, practicing at a local dental office near her home. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health & Science from Northern Kentucky University and an Associate Degree in Applied Science from the University of Cincinnati.
